Faulty Design: Sensor Dry Cycle Does NOT Dry clothes
This GE condensation Dryer (model DCCH480EK0WW) has faulty design. The Sensor Cycle does NOT dry clothes.No matter how many times Sensor Cycle are repeated for the same load of clothes, my clothes would still remain wet. This is because, for some unknown reasons, the sensor keeps making the dryer stop before completing the drying cycle, leaving clothes wet. I don't understand why the GE would make a sensor that can't correctly detect or diagnose wet or dry clothes.

I had 5 service technicians trying to resolve this issue, but none could find the root cause of the problem. Finally, GE replaced with a new one of the same model, but with the same non-dry problem. GE tech group recommends to continue using dry cycle until the clothes are dry. I'm surprised such work-around could be suggested by world-reputable company such as GE, which should have found a solution to this fundamental problem and then recall with proper fix for this particular model.
