So Far So Good
I read a ton of reviews on wine fridges as they all seem to be mixed. Some people seem to just get a lemon and it breaks...I had this for a couple of weeks now and it works fine. Look at it unpacked before shipment is completed though as mine had a pretty dented back corner that I didn't notice till a couple days later. It was obviously bumped into, and there were no signs on the packaging that it had taken a spill, but somewhere it had. If I ever get another fridge I will most likely buy one in person and make sure it is put in my truck with now bumps or bruises.

At long last, I finally found a truly wonderful vacuum. It's really worth the money. The time, frustration and money I've spent on lame vacuums make the cost of this one worth it to me.

I had 2 Dyson uprights, that were ok for basic carpet, but were to bulky to get under much. They were terrible, I thought, on hard wood floors. The last new Dyson I had put a big scratch on my Brazilian cherry floors! Every time I wanted to use the Dyson, I'd have to go outside to empty the dirt bin. I liked the idea of not needing to buy bags, but it's really messy to dump out and dust goes everywhere. Plus, it had to be emptied all the time. The Dyson attachments are cumbersome to set up and use. The Dyson vacuums I had were very loud and heavy too.

Gets all the major points right
This is the third (and hopefully the last for a long time) water ionizer/filter I've bought and I'm happy with it overall. It has all of the important features without the higher price tag of other models. Compared to other Jupiter models, the only feature not included is the continuous "reverse action" cleaning system. However the Venus does run an automatic cleaning cycle (10 seconds) every 20 liters which should be fine unless perhaps you have extremely hard water. I can get an optimal range of about 4.0 - 10.5 pH, and this range can be shifted by adjusting the maximum flow rate with the built-in knob (great feature). This is not an "entry-level" unit, but a full-fledged work horse and I would recommend it to anyone. The only cons I have with the unit also apply to every other unit on the market in the U.S. now (AFAIK).

The water quality and taste is great since the Venus uses the same filter cartridges as the highest-end models. It would be nice if the filter life...

So Far This Unit is Amazing!
Purchased this LG unit for my 2600 square foot home. This unit occupies my kitchen/dining area and was intended to cool a part of the first floor. Within turning this sucker on, after five minutes, the humidity was gone out of my entire downstairs (hallway included) and it was billowing frosty cold air into my my house. It is powerful, and it's a bit louder than another 15000 BTU unit I have, but it is doing what it is supposed to do.

Note that it requires a special 230V outlet which my electrician did quite easily.

I'll update later after it's been given more of a test. So far, I love love love love it.

I've owned this FP630 unit for three months and have only one issue with it. I like the refrigerator/freezer itself very much, and it has worked well on AC current. However, the 12v connection cable is defective.

I ordered the longer 12v cable and it was defective also. In order to use DC current as your power supply you need to cut off the male plug (that plugs into your 12v power source) and replace it with a 10A, 12v DC plug you can find at Radio Shack for $5.99.

It's a PITA but you have no option per my call to the EdgeStar Factory representative. The problem with the 12v cables is that the male plug on the cable is defective in that its retention springs, that hold the plug into the wall or vehicle socket, are too weak the it will very easily move out of the socket enough to break the connection with the wall power source. And, in a motorhome or vehicle, you have constant vibration which adds to the problem of your connection being unreliable...

This machine replaced a Spidem Divina. Although the Divina made good coffee, it was very temperamental and required numerous calls for on the phone repair. Finally, we just gave up. The Jura was twice the price and well worth it. We have not had one problem and love the coffee. I whole heartedly recommend this machine, you won't be sorry. We purchased from a brick and mortar Sur La Table store. They said if there is ever any problem, just return and they would replace if they were unable to diagnose the problem. I owned the 600 series mixer for a handful of years, but it just wasn't powerful enough to handle the large quantities of bread dough I make, especially around the holidays. Finally Philips did what I was expecting: Design a new fully automatic espresso machine at Saeco, the originator of these machines.
The Exprelia is perfect in every aspect. What first strikes me was the silence of operation. Very low noise at every step, grinding, steaming, brewing and cleaning. Compared to my old very noisy DeLonghi Magnifica, it is day and night. The Exprelia is not only fully automatic in making all kind of coffee beverages and particularly cappuccinos, but also in cleaning the milk carafe and everything else. The little screen will tell you what to do at all time. The settings are very easy to adjust and there are plenty of adjustments for all tastes. I was a little apprehensive in buying this machine and be the first to review it, but I trusted not only Philips but also Amazon, both are great company caring a lot for customer satisfaction. Worth the money
I'd never owned anything other than those cheesy ionizers in the past, and my wife suggested getting a quality HEPA filter to use in our basement, which we suspected had some mold floating around. It's never been a very smelly basement, but never seemed quite like the rest of the house either. I installed this, and within an hour, running on high, the room smelled like NOTHING. Utterly astonishing - doesn't smell like the rug, like the sofa, like fabric softener, like mold, like oil. It smells of nothing. I'm going to get one for the bedroom. It is audible on high -- like a room fan on medium maybe, and actually creates a bit of a breeze which is nice. It is also made in the U.S.A, another astounding characteristic, since you can't seem to buy anything these days that isn't made in China. Most highly recommended. I don't know what Consumer Reports was thinking of -- none of the really high quality air filters were in their recent survey.

I purchased this (not from Amazon) and I will tell you this thing really works. Previously, I owned an LG which was the absolute nosiest piece of junk I have ever purchased. I have a finished basement in a suburb of Philadelphia. I don;t have a huge problem with moisture, but I do have my fair share. My LG would work so hard to remove the little moisture that I had.
I found this unit and spoke to a distributor about why these were so much money! I thought that a $250 dehumidifier was sufficient for my basement, but the truth is that these cheap models just end up running up your electric bill, aren't really that great at dehumidifying, and break relatively quickly. If you get a few years, you're lucky.
I was tired of re-buying an appliance every few years, and I am a big believer in "you get what you pay for" so I decided to try this beast out. I was able to score this unit for $999 with Free Shipping from a distributor. I don't think they are allowed to advertise it lower...

I set this up as a Christmas gift for my wife, sent her to the movies with my daughter and when she got back my son and I had the fireplace setup in the bedroom. She looked at it and thought it was a gas fireplace (we have two of these in the house). This fireplace is INCREDIBLE! The fire is real looking, the heater is perfect, it ships with an LCD remote that is easy to operate and allows you to control the room temperature. One of the best gifts she has ever received. The media center itself is not only functional but is extremely beautiful. The wood work is pristine. My only complaint is that two of the screw holes were a few millimeters apart and it was a little tricky to fit. But I would not take any stars away from this beautiful magnificent fireplace!
