Pretty, shiny, sucks your hat off but LOUD.
Settled on this model with a 600 CFM internal motor & external ducting (BOTH SOLD SEPARATELY !!!) after HOURS of internet research and comparing against other models and brands. Things I like: GREAT LOOKING hood - extends outward and downward far enough to cover ALL of my range BURNERS. SUBSTANTIAL SS filters with solid handles. Very EASY to wire up. Things I DON'T like: LOUD on higher speeds. THINNER, non-commercial grade (22 ga.)stainless steel. 50 Watt halogen bulbs are NOT INCLUDED..REALLY???, I had to go out & purchase some of the required mounting screws ..COME ON! Light bulbs rattle in the flimsy sockets provided. Installation instructions were VERY HARD to understand. Almost none of the steel edges were DE-BURRED and were SHARP enough to cut you during installation. There is only one VERY small, hard to see blue fan-on indicator light on the front edge of the hood and NO light-on indicator. Controls are still HARD TO FIND after several weeks of constant use.
